I notice however, that on ALL videos from the U.S on electrical installations, do not follow correct safe isolation procedures. Now, as an electrician in the United Kingdom:
Plan and specify the correct system of work.
Test your voltage indicating device on a PROVING UNIT to ensure that it works.
Switch power off, use lock off device on circuit breaker, PADLOCK IT AND RETAIN KEYS,
Use VID to test across conductors.
RETEST on proving unit!
Now begin work

fluke / gfi checker are good error checking while the blinking hot warring pen and the other two devices good for cheking for live wires and are able to give alse reading like u siad in a dimmer
